Stellar Blade’s fighting mechanics are dog shit and don’t deserve your time. I must stress this point, until it is abundantly clear. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either willfully ignorant or too incompetent to realize it. There’s no discussion about this. You’re being played, not the other way around. WAKE UP. This game is a scam. Nothing about stellar blade, apart from its aesthetics, the music and fan service, is above mediocre, if not to say insultingly shallow. I could go into detail about literally aspect of what exactly the massive overarching problems in this game are, but you poor shills will buy it anyway. There is no justification of the skin depth approach to the combat in this gameZ The system is modular and isolated. There are no juggles, no techs, no resets, no mixups, no jails, non of that sort. There is barely enough hit stun in Eves basic strings, to lock the enemies for long enough, to even convert into anything. There is no point to committing to a combo, because it is a massive liability, so long as you don’t waste resources for it. The inputs are extremely unreliable. You can’t smoothly dash into run, the dash itself is pathetic and kills all of the momentum. You cannot even rely on the basic backdashing, because Eve has to reset herself to neutral, before it is consistently activated. There is no point in trying to make this game work, because the mechanics are fundamentally broken and deserve no respect. It isn’t engaging, it doesn’t involve any meaningful skill or creativity for that matter. The meta is to just stand still and parry incoming attacks, with a heavy restriction on flow or proactivity. The only way to tolerate this game constantly restricting the players freedom, is through being too incompetent, to engage that level of freedom in the first place. Congratulations, you’re utterly average and you have no talent, nor the wish to discover it. Because Stellar Blade certainly won’t help you on the way there. This game is perfect for you. It is underwhelming, confused and stupid. This goes for not only the combat, but the game play loop, the puzzles, the story, the dialogue, the open word. The entire game is shady monetization through artificial inflation, shallow dialogue and kindergartener levels of world building. If you don’t realize this, are you even listening to what the characters are saying? WAKE UP.

Stellar Blade is utter trash and to those people, who dare to try convincing you otherwise, you’re all casuals. Stellar Blade is the current epitome, of the cookie cutter AAA experience. It’s not even worth it for Eve alone, who is just as shallow as the rest of the mind numbingly stupid “plot” and all of its characters. Instead, you should play Nier: Automata, which is nothing short of a masterpiece, especially compared to this stale, mediocre, washed out, creatively bankrupt, one dimensional disaster. If you personally think, that Stellar Blade is a good game in any sense and you can say that in all honesty, then you have truly found the perfect game for you. Because Stellar Blade is the ideal game, for npc’s like you. Have fun collecting the 89th pass code.
